Denford’s New Turn 270 CNC lathe (and its sister product, the VMC 1300 CNC milling machine) are proving to be popular with schools and those who are delivering the 14-19 Engineering Diplomas.
 The New Turn 270 Lathe
This 2 axis CNC lathe has a totally-enclosed high-visibility interlocked guard, making the machine suitable for all levels of education and training. Programmable spindle ‘speeds and feeds’ make the New Turn 270 ideal for cutting a range of resistant materials such as free cutting alloys and steel, as well as wax, plastic and acrylic.
The machine comes with the following equipment supplied as standard: VR CNC Turning operating software, a quick change toolpost and holder, and a manual self centring 3 jaw chuck. Optional equipment includes an 8 station programmable turret, pneumatic chuck and guard, spray mist coolant, tailstock and Universal Machine Bench.

Denford Ltd continues to prosper in a highly competitive global market.
